Biography
I have been involved in emergency medical services, fire, and nursing for a long time, with a particular passion for emergency medicine focused on trauma. Wow, how many things have changed! I have taken on various roles throughout my career, including charge nurse, EMT, firefighter, captain, battalion chief, and instructor for numerous EMS education programs.
Currently, I serve as EMS faculty at Utah Valley University, where I teach EMT and Paramedic courses. While I have earned various credentials, my favorite role by far is being a grandpa. There’s truly no place I’d rather be than with my grandkids or surrounded by the strong, dedicated, fearless, tireless, funny, and loving people who attend this conference. Long live Jimmy Buffett!
