I got into the EMS, fire and nursing a long time ago. My love is in emergency medicine with emphasis in trauma. Wow, it has changed…A lot. I have worked as a charge nurse, EMT, firefighter, Captain, Battalion Chief, and instructor of all types of EMS education.

I am currently EMS Faculty at Utah Valley University teaching EMT and Paramedic courses. I have some of the alphabet soup to put behind my name, but my favorite job is Grandpa. There really is no place (other than with my grandkids) that I would rather be, than with strong, dedicated, fearless, tireless, funny, smart, loving people who attend this conference. Long live Jimmy Buffett!
