Biography
Nichole Berge works as a firefighter/paramedic and EMS Coordinator for the North Fork Fire Department, where she balances the demands of emergency services with her passion for teaching. With over 15 years of experience in EMS, Nichole brings her expertise to both classroom and field settings. She teaches EMS programs for various organizations in Utah and is an Adjunct Instructor, teaching Cultural Competency in Interprofessional Health Care through online courses at Ohio University. Alongside these roles, she is also completing a PhD in Higher Education, where her research focuses on innovative EMS programs designed for rural students. When she’s not busy with work and school, Nichole is off traveling the world with her husband or spending time with their seven kids and eleven grandkids, and enjoying the peace and beauty of Utah’s mountains.
