Kirk Livingstone

Kirk Livingstone

Biography

Kirk is a 20-year member of Wasatch County Search and Rescue, a former whitewater guide and area manager for a whitewater outfitter, and a Swiftwater rescue instructor for Rescue 3 International. He has taught hundreds (thousands?) of students how to keep themselves safe around moving water, so they can help others who find themselves in bad circumstances in and around swift-moving water.

Rafting and whitewater are one of Kirk’s passions, and he has guided over 75 trips through Cataract Canyon as well as dozens of trips through Westwater, Desolation, and Grey canyons. He still enjoys taking his family through these canyons and teaching everyone around the tips and tricks to being safe in swiftly moving currents.
