Jess Fulkerson

Jess Fulkerson lives in Olympia, WA, and works for North Mason Regional Fire Authority as a Captain/Paramedic. For 15 years he served as a Reserve Deputy and Tactical Medic on the Mason County SWAT Team. Jess has a B.A. in Education (Minor in Biology) from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and has served as either a volunteer or paid Firefighter/EMS professional since 1998.

Jess thinks of himself an educator, even before that of a Firefighter or Paramedic. He takes experiences from over 20 years in Emergency Services to bring wide-ranging topics to people in areas of interpersonal communication, personal and instructor development, conflict resolution, scene management/ICS, and tactical EMS (TEMS).

Jess’ style is dynamic incorporating candor, humor, energy and enthusiasm, highlighting his passion for Firefighting and EMS. Jess enjoys speaking to a wide range of audiences.
