Dr. Doug Murdock

Dr. Doug Murdock began his medical career as an EMT in 1985.  He advanced in medicine, obtaining his BS in Nursing, then moved on to Medical School/Residency and is now a Board Certified Emergency Physician.  He has worked at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center and Orem Community Hospital for 18 years.

Even though his full time job is in the ED, his beginnings as an EMT have been a huge part of his life.  Thirty years after his EMT class, he still runs on the ambulance – EMS is his passion (next to his family).

Dr. Murdock is also thrilled to function as the EMS Medical Director for Grand County EMS, UVU EMS, Utah County Search & Rescue and the Timpanogos Emergency Response team.  EMS ROCKS!!!
