Organ, Tissue, and Eye Donation and the Impact of EMS
This presentation will cover organ eye and tissue donation and the impact that EMS has on it. It will clarify any misnomers regarding donation to create awareness to the community we all serve. We will talk about the clinical and charting decisions that can change a patients’ donation eligibility. Finally, we will cover the triumphs we’ve achieved of saving lives do to the efforts of the EMS community to get the injured to the hospital.
