Wide Complex Tachycardia – When ACLS is NOT our friend
We are continually taught that ACLS is the gold standard guideline to treat patients with arrythmias. However, ACLS guidelines are not always the best course of treatment for our patients and can often in fact be detrimental and even fatal. We will discuss these instances and how to identify and treat them without following the “ACLS Cookbook”.
