Chris is an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) course coordinator, training officer and instructor teaching courses for the University of Utah Center, College of Health, Department of Health and Kinesiology.  His clinical background is in emergency nursing and mass gathering and event medical services. He also teaches and consults on Emergency Nursing courses, EMS and ancillary clinical staff education in Utah.  Chris is the state Cardiac Arrest Registry to Enhance Survival (CARES) coordinator through the University of Utah, Division of Emergency Medicine where he coordinates the data collection and dissemination of prehospital cardiac arrest data in Utah through the national CARES program.  He has developed and implemented EMS education programs locally in Utah as well as internationally in Nepal and India.
