2016 I joined the Trauma team at Utah Valley Hospital as the Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator

I believe that the Stop the Bleed course is important because in general people are willing and wanting to help in emergency situations. Often they do not because they are concerned that they might cause more harm than good. In one hour we can teach anyone these simple techniques to control life threatening bleeding and teach them that they can save a life. This will make them more apt to help.
