I started in EMS back in 1995 when I took my first CPR Class. I fell in love with everything about it. I enjoy teaching and helping others find the love that I have for EMS. I started my journey into EMS at BYU Idaho where I did my EMT. I did my internship in Galveston, Texas, and with Madison County Fire and EMS. After finishing the program with a Bachelor and Associates Degree Provo picked me up in 2009 where I started my Career as a Firefighter Paramedic and have loved every day since. I currently teach as an adjunct Professor at Utah Valley University Paramedic Program and am in charge of Trauma. I love the aspect of teaching and helping others learn what I love, which is “Helping others in their time of need.”
I’m married and have 5 children, live in Spanish Fork and enjoy that community. I love the outdoors, and all sports that have anything to do with a ball.
