Jeffrey J. Denning

Jeffrey J. Denning, ACMHC, CMAS, CPS is a mental health professional with First Responders First and a retired Salt Lake City police officer.

A former peer support leader, hostage negotiator, and Federal Air Marshal, Jeff also protected U.S. diplomats in the Israel and Palestine. He is also a veteran of the war in Iraq.

Jeff holds master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Military Special Operations/Terrorism. He specializes in crisis response, peer support, and suicide intervention, and has trained first responders nationwide.
