Jeff Wise

Chief Wise has been in the fire service for 27 years. He started as a volunteer in Springville. He worked 4 ½ years in South Jordan Fire department then came to Provo Fire in 1999. Chief Wise has held the position of Firefighter, Paramedic, Engineer, Captain, and has been a Battalion Chief for the last 6 years. Chief Wise is over the Special Response Team in Provo which responds to Trench Rescues, Confined Space, Haz-Mat, Rope Rescue, Swift Water, Structural Collapse, and Heavy Vehicle Extrications. Chief Wise is also over the Peer Fitness team at Provo Fire in which he helps administer the yearly physical fitness tests. I believe strongly that we have a duty to be physically fit to serve the public to the best of our ability.
