Heather Van Boerum

Born and raised in Salt Lake City.

Undergrad – University Of Utah Studied Political Science

Prior to injuries: Avid tennis player, hiked, biked, climbed, skied (downhill and backcountry), ran, anything active.

Married the love of her life in college and supported him through his many years of medical school, residency, and fellowship. Heather and her husband Don Van Boerum have five kids and raised them in Arizona, California and Utah. Heather took care of her five kids and her husband while also volunteering in the community.

Now Heather spends her time sharing her story, inspiring others and radiating positivity. She looks forward to progressing in her physical journey and getting back to all the activities she loves.
