Using the Right Tool for the Job – Correct Use of Air Medical Helicopters
In today’s system, there is no shortage of air medical aircraft at our disposal. With so many options, are we using them appropriately? To our advantage and in the best interest of patient care? Traditionally, systems have been designed around a rotation system and spending too much time on the scene for the aircraft to arrive. In this presentation, we will discuss new thinking and usage in air medicine focused on patient care and supporting our crewmembers on scene.
