Captains Combat Challenge – Are You Living Up To Your Captain’s Expectations?

Those who serve their community in a civil or volunteer capacity, often place their own lives at risk when responding to emergency situations. It makes sense to be physically fit to mitigate any chance of getting hurt or sustaining any injury. Whether you are dragging a hose, climbing stairs, pushing, or pulling, and carrying life saving equipment, are you physically fit to do so? EMS practitioners are expected to maintain certain levels of fitness, to perform their duties.

In this 4-hour workshop, join Battalion Chief, Jeff Wise and Captain Ryan Reiske, and Retired Engineer, Rick Hardman, as they take you through a challenge course of physical fitness with hands-on scenarios. You will address victim removal from an IDLH atmosphere, extrication and removing victims from a motor vehicle, and then challenge your physical endurance. Are you ready for the challenge?
