Brice Jacobson

Brice Jacobson serves as a Lieutenant and EMS Coordinator with Cheyenne Fire Rescue in Wyoming. He began his emergency medical services career in Southern Utah in 1998, volunteering with Iron County Ambulance as an EMT-Basic and EMT-Intermediate. He later worked for Iron County Ambulance and gained hospital experience in the emergency and operating departments at Valley View Medical Center. After attending Dixie State College, he earned his paramedic certification in 2003.

Brice joined Cheyenne Fire Rescue as a firefighter-paramedic in 2004. His career also includes six years with American Medical Response and 10 years with Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. After advancing through the suppression division, he was promoted to Lieutenant and EMS Coordinator in 2015.

In his current role, Brice oversees the department’s EMS administration, logistics, clinical education, and provider development. He also serves as a liaison to the Wyoming Office of EMS and community partners, including Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, American Medical Response, and Laramie County Community College.

His diverse clinical and operational background encompasses hospital, ambulance, and fire-based EMS. Brice is also involved in Community EMS and peer support and serves as an EMS instructor in Laramie County. He is committed to strengthening patient care and developing providers through practical, evidence-based, and collaborative education.

Brice is a nationally registered paramedic and holds a Bachelor of Science in EMS Administration.
