Biography
AmberDawn joined the medical community at the age of 17 and, due to her petite stature, earned the nickname “CindyLou” from her educators and fellow firefighters. Over the last 22 years, her passion for the medical and emergency fields has continued to grow. She has obtained various certifications, including EMT Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced, as well as CNA, CPT, CST, and CSFA.
AmberDawn had the opportunity to work with the Tremonton City Fire Department, where she received training and continuing education in wildland, structural fire, and hazmat responses. While working for the city, she earned her CNA and CPT certifications, volunteered at the hospital, and later worked as a technician in the ER. After moving from Tremonton, she worked on the Med/Surg floor at the hospital and floated among nearly every department to broaden her knowledge.
She returned to school to graduate in Surgical Technology and later obtained her CSFA certification. For the past nine years, she has been assisting in surgery as a First Assistant, specializing in OB/GYN, general surgery, general oncology, and ENT. Her primary role currently focuses on GYN surgery, where she coordinates with OR teams to support doctors and provide the best care for patients.
AmberDawn enjoys continuing education opportunities and loves sharing her knowledge of medicine. She adores her husband and their three daughters, and they spend their leisure time engaging in activities such as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, self-defense training, camping, fishing, and paddleboarding.
